As Indianmandarins had reported early morning today the Appointment Committee of The Cabinet cleared the appointment of Ms. Samyukta Samaddar (IAS:1999:UP) as Officer on Special Duty at NITI Aayog.
Currently, she serves as a Director in the Department of Heavy Industry.
For the last two months, NITI Aayog has been witnessing several changes right from the top. It started from the day Dr. Rajiv Kumar was named as successor to Arvind Panagariya.
Sources believe that there could be more changes in store at NITI Aayog following the appointment of Dr. Bibek Debroy as the chairman of the PM Economic Advisory Council.
