The NaMo administration on Thursday empanelled fifteen officers belonging to Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) for holding HAG rank posts in the Government of India. While taking the decision of the recommended list the ACC directed the Ministry of Railways to adopt a uniform policy for vacancy assessment. Officers empanelled for HAG posts are in two categories ‘Main Panel’ and ‘Extended Panel’. MAIN PANEL:- EXTENDED PANEL: Interestingly, the promotion of P Vijaya Kumar was kept in the sealed cover and until a decision is taken on Vijaya Kumar the promotion of one junior most officer on the panel would be considered on ‘ad-hoc’ basis. Further, among the recommended ones Mrs Binita Mitra and Ms P Reetika were denied promotion to HAG.
