Some lady IPS Officers have been targeted with abusive, derogatory and obscene content by certain twitter accounts. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration has strongly condemned this malicious and derogatory tweet and has lodged an FIR with Uttrakhand Police.

Abusive posts and comments against women IPS officers have strongly been condemned, strict action against guilty demanded. IAS Association too has strongly condemned certain twitter account holders who have used abusive, derogatory and obscene content against IPS officers.It has demanded strong action and to remove such posts and handles.

The matter has been reported and requested@TwitterIndia to remove such posts and handles. IPS Association has also strongly condemned these elements and demanded a probe.

It tweeted: "We strongly condemn the abusive & derogatory remarks on Twitter regarding lady IPS officers. We believe the concerned police agencies will do a thorough investigation to expeditiously bring culprits to book. We solemnly resolve to protect the dignity of lady officers.
