New Delhi (25.03.2022): Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay is set to become the next CMD of GSL, a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. The PESB on Thursday selected him for the post of CMD, Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL). He is currently serving as Director (Operations) in the same organisation (GSL). As CMD of GSL, Upadhyay will be a chief executive of the corporation and will be accountable to its board of directors and the government. He will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the company for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters, promoting indigenisation under the Atma Nirbhar scheme of the government.
