- New Delhi (13.05.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:
- Dr Ajay Kumar (Retd IAS: 1985: KL) was appointed as Chairman, UPSC.
- The additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, was assigned to Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS: 1989: MH) from 14.05.2025 to 23.05.2025 during the period of absence on leave of Chandra Sekhar Kumar (lAS: 1992: OD). Currently, Aggarwal is Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).

- The additional charge of the post of CMD, Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) has been given to Santosh Kumar Sarangi (IAS: 1994: OR) till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
- New Delhi (10.05.2025): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Saturday are as follows:
- Nidhi Chhibber (IAS: 1994: CG), Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog, has been appointed as DG, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
- Yashasvi Mund (ITS: 2011), Deputy Secretary in the 0ffice of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (TSU), has been re-designated as Director in the same department for a period up to 08.01.2029. His central deputation tenure is w.e.f. 09.01.2024.
- Appointments Committee of the cabinet terminated services of Rameshwar Prasad Gupta (Retd IAS: 1987: GJ) as Managing Director, Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd., Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.
Tenure of Sunil Bhagwat Chaudhari (ICAS:2008), Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, has been extended for a period of one year i.e up to 04.06.2026. He counts his central deputation w.e.f. 05.06.2020.
- Tenure of Satyajit Mohanty (IRS C&IT:1999), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 09.07.2025.
- Tenure of Rakesh Mittal (IDES: 1995), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, has been extended for a period of two years beyond 31.07.2025.
- Tenure of Mahendra Kumar (ISEE: 1999), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, has been extended for one year beyond 22.05.2025.
- Lily Pandeya (IRPS: 1998), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, has been entrusted with ex-post facto additional charge of the post of Director, Prime Minister Museum & Library, New Delhi for a period of six months w.e.f. 15.04.2025.
- Dinesh Pant and Ratnakar Patnaik to the post of Managing Director (MD), LIC of India till superannuation. Currently, Pant and Patnaik are working as ED in LIC of India. Both MDs will take charge on June 01, 2025.

- Neeraj Thakur (IPS: 1994: AGMUT), Spl. CP (MD) DPHCL, will look after the additional charge of Special CP/Vigilance. Thakur has been entrusted with this additional charge in view of Viplav Kumar Choudhary (IPS:1997: AGMUT) being moved on deputation as Special Director of Enforcement.

- Tenure of Praveen Sood (IPS: 1986: KN) has been extended as Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of one year beyond 24.05.2025.
- Sanjay Pandey (ICAS:1994), Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, has been repatriated to his parent cadre.
M Harsha Vardhan (IPS: 2012: AGMUT) has been inducted as Superintendent of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation for five years.
