New Delhi (22.04.2025): The BJP may field former Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai as the NDA candidate for the single Rajya Sabha seat in Andhra Pradesh. The seat is vacated after YSRCP's Vijayasai Reddy announced his resignation in January, 2025.The bye-elections to one Rajya Sabha seat is scheduled to be held on May 9. YSRCP's Vijayasai Reddy bid adieu to active politics although his tenure was up to June 2028.
