What draws attention is that merely nine weeks back he was appointed as a regular CEO of the National Land Monetisation Corporation (NLMC) under the Department of Public Enterprise (DPE). Surprisingly, for years NLMC has constantly been reeling under ad hoc arrangements with Sanjay Kumar Jain, the then  Joint Secretary in DPE (currently CMD of IRCTC) and Vasundhara Upamanyu (IRS IT: 1993) currently JS in DPE as officiating CEOs. 

It may also be underlined that  Madhu Rani Teotia (IAS: 2008: AGMUT) was on 27.02.2025 appointed as Secretary to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta while Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) and Ravi Jha (IAS: 2011: AGMUT) were engaged as Special Secretaries to the CM.
