Delay in the appointment of S K Sahni due to ongoing re-examination has triggered further speculations that Sahni may miss the bus to make it as Director (Finance), BHEL. S K Sahni (GM, BHEL) was duly selected for the post on October 21, 2014 and was expected to take over as Director (Finance) from P K Bajpayee who retired on May 31, 2015. Presently Atul Sobti, Director (Power) BHEL is holding the additional charge of Director (Finance).
'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that T Chockalingam (GM, Finance) presently posted in Trichi may shortly be appointed as Director (Finance) BHEL. The ACC may soon make it clear as who will be new Director (Finance) BHEL.
