Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Ms. Meenakshi Davar may be picked up as the first Director (HR) of POSOCO - a newly formed Central PSU under the Ministry of Power.
The selection interview for the post of Director (HR) of the company is scheduled to be held on August 03. Reportedly, Ms. Meenakshi Davar, currently serving with PGCIL, is the front runner for the post.
It may be underlined that POSOCO has five board-level positions and all positions are awaiting their first occupants.
Though the public sector headhunter on 24 May 2017 selected K V S Baba (ECO, POSOCO) for the post of CMD and Ranjan Kumar Srivastava (ED, PGCIL) for the post of Director (Finance) on July 21, the ACC is yet to endorse their appointments.
It may be noted that Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) was a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) till 2 January 2017. The government in December 2014 had decided to set up Power System Operation Corp (POSOCO) as an independent government company.
