New Delhi (08.05.2023): Ahead of the retirement of Shrikant Madhav Vaidya on August 31, 2023, the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) will hold an online interview for the selection of next Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) on May 16, 2023. Altogether ten candidates will be appearing before the selection board (PESB) for the interview which will also be attended by Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum And Natural Gas.
It is worth underlining that out of 10 shortlisted candidates, four belong to Indian Railways while other six are from IOCL making it clear that none from other oil and gas sector PSUs have been considered for the interview of the coveted post.
Candidates appearing before the board included Arvind Kumar, MD, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL); Sandeep Jain, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Anna Durai, Executive Director (Other Units), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Sailendra Kurumaddali, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Sanjay Parashar, Executive Director (Other Units), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Gur Prasad, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Manoj Kumar Dubey, Director (Finance), Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR); Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited; Yatendra Kumar, Additional General Manager, Indian Railways Service of Electrical Engineering; Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), ONGC.
