There has been a strong rumour doing rounds in power-corridors these days that Dr Rajat Bhargawa (IAS:1990:AP), JS (Budget) DEA, was being moved out from Dept of Economic Affairs, Min of Finance. He also represents GoI on the Board of Canara Bank. It is said that since a heavyweight IAS officer wanted to see Bhargawa off from his present place the CSB too, reportedly, had done its bit. But somehow the problem was amicably averted in favour of Bhargawa making him stable and firmly footed on his present turf. But the buzz still goes on as who finally proved to be the saviour of Bhargawa.
