Ved Prakash (IG, Administration), posted at CISF Hqrs, has been decorated with President's Police Medal for distinguished service on the occasion of the 69th Independence Day. In addition to his assignment IG, Administration Ved Prakash also looks after the assignments like intelligence, operations and Naxal management entrusted to the force. Prior to joining CISF he had served with Indian Army for over eight years. 25 other personnel toohave  made CISF proud as they have also been awarded various medals on the occasion of Independence Day.
