Kolkata (11.05.2026): The Government of West Bengal carried out a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle and appointed two IAS officers to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as the new administration led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari continued restructuring the state bureaucracy.P Promoth (IAS: 2019: WB) and Navneet Mittal (IAS: 2019: WB) have been appointed as joint secretaries in the CMO. Promoth was previously serving as joint secretary in the MSME and Textiles Department while Mittal was posted as Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Paschim Medinipur.
