Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi and Woman and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi are strong personalities. One can't but expect fireworks when they cross swords. When this happens, one can be sure that the issue can be sorted out only at the PMO level. Recently, the two ladies got into a row when Bedi got miffed at Maneka's involvement in getting the Puducherry municipal commissioner to release a stray dog and puppy. Taking a dig at Maneka, Bedi tweeted that she hoped that one day the minister feels for the victims of dog bites, too. The tweet led to the WCD minister, known for her animal rights activism, getting trolled online. A furious Maneka, then, is learnt to have reported the matter to the social media cell of the PMO.
