The Award is instituted by the Institution of Engineers (India), the largest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers, and was presented during a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on December 26, 2021. WAPCOS, a “MINI RATNA-I” Public Sector Enterprise under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti, is a technology-driven Consultancy and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organization in the areas of Water Resources, Power, and Infrastructure Development.
