Naidu has pre-emptively appointed G Sai Prasad (IAS: 1991: AP) as the next Chief Secretary (CS) of Andhra Pradesh, a full three months before the incumbent's term ends. The appointment order, already issued by the Chief Minister, stipulates that Prasad will assume the state's top administrative post on March 1, 2026.
