It is reliably learnt that Alok Verma (IPS:1979:UT), the incumbent DG, Tihar, has emerged as strong claimant for Delhi Police Commissioner. Prior to his appointment as DG, Tihar in August 2014, Alok Kumar Verma worked as Special Commissioner (Administration), Delhi Police.
