New Delhi (13.03.21): Amid speculations about an impending reshuffling of officers, new Uttarakhand CM TS Rawat has appointed senior IAS officer Sailesh Bagauli as his secretary.Since Bagauli already holds the post of transport and urban development secretary and is the chief administrator of Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority, it's anybody's guess how efficiently he may be able to discharge his new responsibility. This may possibly be an interim arrangement till the bureaucracy is reshuffled to appease ministers and MLAs whose grouse against the previous CM focused on his overdependence on the bureaucracy at the cost of their importance.
