In addition, Air Marshal Ajit S Bhonsle (AVSM, VSM), too, has been appointed as UPSC Member. Ms. Mehta served as Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs whereas Air Marshal Bhosle served as the Officiating Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC).
