Two IPS officers & Ex CM booked in attempt to murder case

New Delhi (13.07.2024): The Andhra Pradesh police registered case against former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and two officers PV Sunil Kumar (IPS: 1993: AP) and PSR Sitaramanjaneyulu (IPS: 1992: AP) under IPC 307 (attempt to murder) on the complaint of Telugu Desam Party MLA MLA K Raghurama Krishna Raju.Raju alleged that senior IPS officers were part of conspiracy against him. When Raju was arrested, Kumar was heading CID and Sitaramanjaneyulu the intelligence wing. The MLA said he had undergone an open heart surgery weeks before his arrest. He alleged that there were threats to kill him for criticising CM Jagan Mohan.
