New Delhi (14.12.2022): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has blown the poll bugle for 2024 Lok Sabha elections with not only by renaming his party from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samithi but also opening its central office in Delhi’s diplomatic area. But the most interesting aspect of the inauguration was that opposition parties too were invited in the programme.
The inauguration ceremony that started with performing Yagnya by the CM himself and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was his alongside all through the programme. There is a close understanding of Telangana CM with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who one of the close associates said that she was just a phone call away and always with the KCR. The Election Commission of India recently gave its nod for changing TRS to BRS.
The occasion was marked with supporters from across the country thronging 5 Sardar Patel Marg which gave security personnel a tough time. After an elaborate Yagnya was performed with priests chanting Vedic Mantra, ribbon was cut to formally inaugurate the office. The National Flag was hoisted in the newly inaugurated office.
Huge crows in pink stalls were trying to enter the office to get just a glimpse of his leader who is posing a real challenge to the present dispensation at the Centre.
