Amid NaMo administration considering Secretary level IAS officers for next top bureaucratic rejig at Centre P K Tripathi’s (IAS:1987:JK) name has started doing rounds for the coveted job of Chief Secretary, J&K. Tripathi is Secretary to the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet and Establishment Officer, DoPT. Though, he is also being seen as NaMo administration's choice for Secretary, PMO. 

Having accomplished one of the most critical tasks in recent decades the incumbent Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam (IAS:1987:CG) is considered to have win the full confidence of NaMo administration so much that he might be drafted suitably as Secretary in an important Ministry at Centre soon. It is also believed that few other names too may not be overlooked for the top job.
