New Delhi (02.12.2024): In a tragic end that should rather have been a bright beginning when an IPS officer died before joining his first posting. Harsh Bardhan (IPS: 2023: KN), who lost his life in a road accident, was on his way to Hassan district to join as probationary Assistant Superintendent of Police in Holenarasipur. Harsh Bardhan, who hailed from Madhya Pradesh, succumbed to fatal head injuries. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, he died in the hospital. The accident happened on Sunday evening when tire of police vehicle burst near Kittanne in Hassan taluk. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently crashed into a house and a tree by roadside.
