Kolkata (11.05.2026): Political workers in West Bengal are famous for shifting loyalty with changing political equations and the latest being Riju Dutta, who had threatened UP IPS and election observer in the state Ajay Pal Sharma to drag him in the court once elections were over. But with the BJP government in the state, he spilled the bean by saying that he took the TMC line on the instructions of Abhishek Banerjee and former DGP and now Rajya Sabha member Rajiv Kumar. Dutta praised BJP leaders also and now suspended from the party for six years.
