Abhay Thakur (IFS: 1992), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Mauritius. Thakur will succeed Anup Kumar Mudgal (IFS:1984) as High Commissioner of Mauritius
He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
