Sheshadri, known as a soft-spoken yet firm administrator, previously worked as Joint Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Secretary in Chief Minister’s office (CMO) and looked after revenue. In the Cadre state he worked Commissioner of Registration and Stamps Department and worked as Joint Collector and Collector of United Ranga Reddy District.

The Principal Secretary is a key post after the Chief Secretary who plays a key role in implementing the decisions of the CM and cabinet. He acts as the bridge between the CMO and other wings of administration.
