Injured and hospitalized Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan (IAS:1981:TN) had a surprise visitor on Sunday, December 17, at a private hospital where she's undergoing treatment. It was none other than Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami who wished her speedy recovery. The 58-year-old official had been admitted to hospital following an injury she sustained after a fall. The CS was getting into her car at the secretariat when she slipped and fell. The 1981 batch IAS officer was appointed as the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu late last year.
