Sunil Sharma (IRPS:1985) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. He was empanelled as Joint Secretary in March 2011. In his new stint Sharma will replace Ms Manisha Prasad Panwar (IAS:UD:1990) who had moved as JS, Dept of Woman & Child Development.
