As the public sector headhunter begins its search for a replacement of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) CMD P Madhusudan who may retire on May 31, the names of prospective candidates have started doing the rounds.
Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that seven internal candidates have applied for the post. They include three RINL directors - V V Venugopal Rao (Director- Finance), KC Das (Director- Personnel) and PK Rath (Director- Operations). Reportedly, two executive directors from SAIL have also applied for the post.
The selection interview is expected to be held in the third week of January. It is said that the selection panel may give due consideration to internal candidates.
