Vijayawada (26.06.2026): Four day before her superannuation on June 30, 2026, Y Srilakshmi (IAS: 1988: AP) has been promoted on June 25, 2026 as Special Chief Secretary. She has been assigned the charge of the Administrative Reforms Department where she replaces Shamsher Singh Rawat (IAS: 1992: AP), who had been holding an additional charge. Srilakshmi had remained without a posting for nearly two years after the NDA coalition government led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu assumed office in June 2024.
