New Delhi (14.11.2024): The selection interview for the post of CMD, NMDC Limited is being held today (14.11.2024). Altogether ten shortlisted candidates are expected to appear before the board (PESB) for selection interview namely; 
  1. Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited
  2. Vinay Kumar, Director (Technical), NMDC
  3. Rakesh Tumane, Director (Finance), MOIL
  4. Vishwanath Suresh, Director (Commercial), NMD
  5. Rajesh Kumar Singh, CMD, Bridge and Roof Company
  6. Sanjay Banga, CMD, Cement Corporation of India
  7. R Venu Gopal, Senior GM, BSNL
  8. Rajkumar Rathi, ED Engineers India Limited
  9. Prasanna Kumar Rath, ED, Sail Refractory Unit
  10. Ajay Nandan (IRSME), Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Indian Railway 
It may be underlined that the CMD post in NMDC has been under the ad-hoc arrangement after Sumit Deb retired on 31.01.2023. Since then, the senior most Board-member Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance) is holding the additional charge of the CMD.
