Mr. Nirmal Sinha, Chairman, SCOPE, has advised PSUs to give top importance to corporate communications departments and highlight the achievements of PSUs. In his inaugural address at a SCOPE organized two-day Corporate Communication Summit on the theme "Learning New Strategies - Scaling Newer Heights" in New Delhi which was attended by a large number of participants from PSUs, he said that good work done by the public sector should be effectively projected by corporate communication professionals.During the summit, SCOPE Corporate Communication Excellence Awards were also presented. Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE advised PSUs to develop a blueprint for effective communication  to build a brand image of the organization.  He announced that SCOPE will shortly organize an exclusive programme on Media Spokesperson in Public Sector. The outcome of the two days Summit shall help PSUs to further strengthen their corporate communication departments. Among others,  Padma Shri Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, Honorary Secretary General, IMA,  Mr. Sudhir Chaudhary of Zee News and   Mr. D.D. Mishra, Director (HR), ONGC also spoke in the  inaugural session.
