Thiruvananthapuram (23.08.2024): The Kerala government appointed Sarada Muraleedharan (IAS: 1990: KL) as the next Chief Secretary of the State. Muraleedharan has the rare distinction of taking up the reins of the State’s administration from her husband and outgoing Chief Secretary V Venu (IAS: 1990: KL). Venu is slated to retire on August 31. Muraleedharan is currently the Additional Chief Secretary of Local Self-Government Institutions (LSGI).
