New Delhi (23.08.2024): The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Thursday selected Achyut Ghatak for the post of Director (Technical), Coal India Limited (CIL); a Schedule ‘A’ Central PSU. A total 11 people were interviewed. Currently, Ghatak is posted as Director (Engineering and R&D) /Director Technical, Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Ghatak will be appointed as Director (Technical), CIL. The post of Director (Technical), CIL will be vacant after the retirement of B Veera Reddy on 31.08.2024.
