Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that a General Manager (GM) level officer has landed in trouble after he did not toe the line of top management to cover up the vigilance cases against very senior officers in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). It may be indicated that there were 30 complaints received by the vigilance authorities against a senior official between 06 Sept 2016 and 06 October 2017. Of thirty complaints 28 were received in year 2017 itself.
