'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that the services of S Venkat, the outgoing Director (Finance) of Air India, have been extended by a year. He will superannuate on October 31, 2016, but will continue to serve the organization as adviser for a year on contract. Venkat will hand over the charge to V S Hezmadi on October 31, though the Ministry is yet to issue the appointment order of Hezmadi (GM, Air India) as new Director (Finance) of Air India.
