Shyam S Agrawal (IAS:1980:RJ) has been appointed as Secretary (National Commission for Scheduled Tribes), Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Previously , he also served as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
He replaces R. Vijaykumar (IAS:1978:TN).
