The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday cleared the empanelment of 16 IAS officers to hold Additional Secretary (AS) and Additional Secretary Equivalent (AS Equivalent) post in Govt of India. The list include three IAS officers from 1985 & 1986 batch as well. Of 16 officers 07 have attained the eligibility to hold AS or AS Equivalent posts whereas 09 may hold AS Equivalent posts in Govt of India.
