Gurugram (14.06.2025): Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) Limited, a leading NBFC under the Ministry of Power, organized a voluntary "Blood Donation Camp" on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. REC, a “Maharatna” Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), organized the camp in collaboration with Lions Blood Centre — a charitable blood bank committed to saving lives.
As the Guest of Honour International kickboxer Sudhir Saxena led the camp and motivated blood donors including employees of REC. While participating in the blood donation drive he emphasized the importance of fitness, discipline, and social responsibility in building a healthier and more compassionate society. Reaffirming the organization’s commitment to humanitarian causes numerous employees of REC Ltd donated blood with enthusiasm.
Demonstrating his personal commitment to the noble cause Jitendra Srivastava (IAS), CMD, REC Limited also donated blood. Addressing the participants he said, “Voluntary blood donation is a noble act that can make a life-saving difference.
