of IAS and IPS officers soon. Reportedly, Rajasthan Chief
Secretary Devendra Bhushan Gupta (IAS:1983:RJ) may be replaced by additional Chief
Secretary Mukesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:1984:RJ) who is an additional CS in charge
of finance and next in line of seniority. Also, the incumbent DGP State DGP Om Prakash Galhotra
(IPS:1985:RJ) may be replaced with Kapil Garg (IPS:1983:RJ). Further, Kuldeep Ranka (IAS:1994:RJ),
Niranjan Kumar Arya (IAS:1989:RJ), Naveen Mahajan (IAS:1997:RJ), Naresh Pal
Gangwar (IAS:1994:RJ) and Pawan Kumar Goyal (IAS:1988:RJ) are said to be in the
race for the post of Rajasthan new CM Ashok Gehlot. Currently, Ranka is the principal
secretary in charge of forest and environment, tourism, art and culture.
Gangwar is the principal secretary in charge of school education and Goyal is
additional chief secretary of UDH.
