The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday cleared three director level appointments in various CPSEs for a period of five years.
Partha Dasgupta (Director, Finance, JCI) appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd, Kolkata. PESB had selected Dasgupta for the post in January 2018. He will succeed the outgoing Director R C Sen retiring next month.
Manoj Jain (ED, Gail India Ltd.) appointed as Director (Business Development), GAIL (India), Limited whereas S. Balakrishnan (GM, BHEL) appointed Director (IS&P), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. PESB had selected Balakrishnan for the post on 22 December 2017. He will succeed the outgoing Director Amitabh Mathur retiring tomorrow.
