Following the appointment of Anil Kumar Jha as Coal India CMD, the Public Enterprise and Selection Board (PSEB), a public sector headhunter, advertised on Monday the post of CMD in Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). 23 August is the last for submission of applications.
On May 18, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited's CMD post fell vacant after Anil Kumar Jha became Coal India CMD.
It may be noted that Director (Personnel) post in MCL too was advertised in June this year. The post is scheduled to fall vacant as the outgoing Director L N Mishra will be retiring on 31 December 2018.
Spread over across Odisha MCL is one of the eight subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, was carved out of South Eastern Coalfields Limited in 1992 with its headquarters at Sambalpur.
