New Delhi (03.05.2023): The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Wednesday selected Polavarapu Mallikharjuna Prasad for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL). Currently, Prasad is working as Chairman & Managing Director, Central Coalfields Ltd.Altogether seven candidates were interviewed for the post. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Prasad will replace Pramod Agrawal who is retiring on June 30, 2023.
