New Delhi (16.05.2021): The Public-sector headhunter (PESB) is all set to interview (scheduled on 17.05.2021) as many as seven shortlisted candidates for the post of CMD, IRCTC; a post that fell vacant after Mahendra Pratap Maal (IRAS:1984) retired January this year.

Candidates shortlisted for the top job include; Mrs Rajni Hasija (Director- Tourism & Marketing, IRCTC), Piyush Tiwari (Director- Commercial & Marketing, ITDC), Sanjay Chadha (Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce), Ajay Agarwal (Director- Finance, SPMCIL), Sunil Kumar (GGM, IRCTC), Sanjay Swarup (CONCOR), , and Ajay Kumar Singhal (Chief Electrical Engineer, Indian Railways),

In power corridors, it is widely believed that Mrs Hasija may have the fair prospect for the CMD post whereas Sanjay Chadha and Piyush Tiwari are also being seen as front runners.
