New Delhi (20.09.2022): Indianmandarins has reliably learned that the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) is gearing up to fast-track the process of filling the Board-level positions in Central PSUs. These posts piled up during the COVID-19 period coupled with vacancies at Board-level positions in PESB itself.
The PESB plans to advertise for the vacant posts and also conduct subsequent interviews as early as possible by November this year.
It may be underlined that PESBhas advertised six Board-level positions until September 19 and in August, it had advertised 15 Board-level posts which was the maximum in recent months. Seven posts were advertised in July, ten in June, eight in May, and five in April. In the coming months, PESB is expected to accelerate its pace and may advertise as many posts as possible to bridge the gap at Board-level across Central PSUs.
Reportedly, an IT-enabled framework, currently underway, would ensure integration and synergy and reduce the time consumed in seeking reports, feedback, and clearances from various agencies and departments. All it aims to reduce the time gap between the recommendations and ACC clearance.
