The central government on Monday announced the appointment of as many as non-official independent directors on the boards of 21 central public sector enterprises (CPSEs). Arvind Gupta, N Sundaradevan, Dr. K Rangarajan, Sunil Trivedi have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of STC. R Anand and B K Shukla have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of MMTC. Baria Udesinh Mohanbhai has been appointed as non-official Independent Director on the Board of PEC. Prof Alak Kumar Buragohain has been appointed as non-official Independent Director on the Board of BVFCL. G M Inamdar, Harin Pathak, and B C Barot have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of RCFL. C N Bhojaraj and Prof Kunal Ghosh have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of PDIL. Sunil Vashisht, C Ramesh, V Srinivasan and Dr. H A Thakore have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of MFL. K P S Nair and Dr. S Murli have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of FACT. Smt. B K Dave has been appointed as non-official Independent Director on the Board of NFL. P N Vijay has been appointed as non-official Independent Director on the Board of Indian Trade Promotion Organisation. Krishna Kumar Singh has been appointed as non-official Independent Director on the Board of HEC. Sudhir Jhunjhunwala and Dr. Dhanpat Ram Agarwal have been appointed as non-official Independent Directors on the Board of AYCL.
