No change in retirement rules; 122 officers retired compulsory in 3 years

New Delhi (09.08.2023): The Centre has given compulsory retirement to around 122 officers in the last three years including the current year under Rule 56. Dr Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions also informed the Lok Sabha that the Government has no proposal under consideration to change the retirement age of Central Government employees.
