Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Rekha Pai (UD:1983:IFS) currently serving at the centre as Inspector General, Forest, may shortly be appointed as Additional Director General (Forest Conservation). An ACC clearance, though awaited since November 2015, may finally come through by the end of this month. The post had fallen vacant after Dr. Sharad Singh Negi was appointed DG Forest last year. Dr. Anil Kumar (IFS:1980:MT) has been holding the additional charge since January last year.
