Public Sector hunter (PESB) has selected Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra (ED, IOCL) for the post of Director (Human Resources), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
Mohapatra will replace Verghese Cherian, the outgoing Director, who will be retiring on October 31st this year.
Altogether ten members appeared before PESB for the interview namely; Subimal Mondal (ED, IOCL); Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra (ED, IOCL); Sanjoy Kumar Dam (CGM, IOCL); S K Bose (CGM, IOCL); Aarup Anupam Bhattacharjee (CGM, IOCL); Deepak Vijyendra Shashtry (ED, GAIL); Rajeev Bhardwaj (Dir (HR), SECI); Amar Nath Verma (GM, NTPC); RAdm Pradeep Joshi (Ch. Staff Officer (P&A), Indian Navy).
He joined Indian Oil in 1987. He was the CEO of Indian Oil (Mauritius) Limited (IOML) a wholly owned subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited before joining the Kolkata office in 2015. He is the State Level Coordinator (SLC) for all Public Sector Unit Oil Companies in West Bengal.
