New Delhi (11.11.2022): Despite the BJP battling with several issues in Himachal Pradesh, the Congress has failed to put up a challenge for the saffron outfit. It is likely to miss the goalpost again on a penalty kick in the state.
Of late, hitting self-goals has become brand equity of the Congress. It had hit many self-goals including in Manipur, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and a few other states.
There is a new phenomenon called missing the goalpost that the party demonstrated in recent elections in Punjab and Uttarakhand. Further, the Congress committed a strategic mistake by launching Priyanka Gandhi in UP where she failed to retain the vote percentage of the Congress despite drawing a reasonably good crowd.
Now, it is likely to do the same in Himachal Pradesh but one would have to wait for a while to see what would be its outcome in the hill state. Himachal Pradesh is apparently witnessing the same scenario but will that be converted into votes?
